Because of
The high buildings
The low buildings
The tents
The one room houses
And the too many rancor
I have damaged my eyes
Looking through those windows
…..
The trains go
The cars
And the vehicles loaded with fruits and prisoners…
I lived like an old hawk
Hungry
Derelict
Absent-minded
A prisoner of my small prey
…..
I thought I will fight
Then I thought my enemy died
Of long waiting
….
I damaged my eyes
Just to see what had been lost
And demised
I was outstretching my sight
Like a needy hands
