THE WORLD MIRROR / SHAKE HEARTS
When I was a little boy
I did not see the sea
I did not adore it
And when the teacher of drawing
Used to ask us to draw a picture
I drew the sea
Not its surface
Or its ships
Or its sound
Which sounds like bombing
But I drew its bowels
