THE WORLD MIRROR / SHAKE HEARTS
The mother is dead
The wife and the kids too
The roof is lying on the ground
Puffed up in some places
Because of the flowerpots
And the last looks
You have been living with the teeth ache
So, you are not alone anymore
Poem Aref Hamza (I do not want anyone to save me, 2014).
Translation from Arabic Shurouk Hammoud, 2017.
